Among the most important reports on climate change are the following:

 

The IPCC’s Fourth Assessment Report:  The latest assessment of the likely impacts of climate change and the steps needed to combat it from the leading scientific authority on the issue. For more see http://www.ipcc.ch/

 

UNFCCC briefing on ‘The Road to Copenhagen’:  A paper from the UN body that runs the global negotiations on climate change, outlining mechanics of the talks and the issues covered. For more see http://unfccc.int/

 

CBI:  The UK Confederation of British Industry has a Climate Change Board with workstreams on a range of topics from cutting emissions from transport fleets to fiscal reform.. This work follows a major CBI report on climate change in 2007.

 

USCAP:  The US Climate Action Partnership brings together businesses and NGOs in a campaign demanding action from the Administration. USCAP produced an influential report A Call to Action in 2007.

 

WBCSD:  The World Business Council for Sustainable Development has an Energy & Climate focus area and has published a series of reports on addressing climate change.
