"It’s where you go if you want to see anything on the internet" Not a bad description from a 6 year old of Google, which celebrates its 10th year birthday this Sunday. Not bad for a company which has chalked up one milestone after another: worth £75billion, having catalogued its trillionth (count them) web page. And not bad for a company created by two so called geeks. A compelling vision of digitising information and making it free for everyone; a radical business model reshaping the global business and social landscape like, sweeping all before it like a virus rewriting the DNA of our present; a confident determination to stay true to that vision and business model. We talk a lot about Tomorrow's Global Leaders, we should never forget that they come in all shapes and sizes. Or rule out that the geeks shall inherit the earth - perhaps they already have!
